We had a lovely stay! The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless! The staff were always very welcoming and friendly. Always there to help! There was always someone on our floor ready to help out. We were given water bottles whenever we asked them for it. The breakfast was very good. Lots of varieties and fresh!Baca selengkapnya
It was less than 5 mins walk to the Prophet (pbuh)’s mosque (haram). Lots of food options closeby as well which was convenient. The WiFi however was not working on iPhones properly. They let us use the staff WiFi which was kind of them. Their irons were very bad. Leaked all over the floor and wet my whole abaya while I was trying to iron it. They got me a replacement iron which also leaked unfortunately. I expected better quality for the price we paid. We also were a disappointed when we asked for some spare plates, they said that it will cost us. I feel like when it’s such a luxurious hotel, these things should be free. Overall we did love our experience. We definitely would love to come back to the same hotel Insha’Allah.

Amazing service provided by Amira and Munir. The food was fantastic and ambience was so relaxing. The over all stay was super comfortable as well and i can’t wait to return back with my family. I also wanted to highlight the housekeeping staff Mamoon who went above and beyond throughout our stay. Would knock on our door several times trying to accomodate in keeping our rooms clean while the family was running on a different time zone.

The worst hotel I have stayed in with very poor management, General Manager and all management have no social or hospitality skills. It deserves no stars. At the time of check-in, I informed them that to give me a quiet room. But they gave me and my sister a room right next to a construction building.Baca selengkapnya
When I called to complain at 2.30am, they said it is not our building, well duh, I am fully aware of that and they should be too, yet they put me right next to noisy environment. I have not paid to be staying next to a noisy construction building, the hotel has a responsibility to ensure that no customer was even given that room. It took them more than 30 minutes to just send someone to my room and I had to move everything at 3am in the morning, messing up my time to sleep and go for my prayers. My sister remained in her room, she was so distressed thinking something serious is happening especially with the issues in the Middle East. Further to that, we had 4 rooms where they had no body wash or shampoo in the bathroom at checkin time. When I asked to speak to the manager, the general manager insisted on having another staff present, his tone was very rude and was making absurd face expressions. I said you would never put a local next to construction building, he goes that you are accusing me of discrimination. I said you own staff confirmed that to me and are complaining about you treating them badly and treating guest differently. He wanted to know the name of the staff who so he can probably go and sack them. So clearly you can see that with his response that the poor staff are surely suffering, this is why everyone should realise and not support a hotel where the workers are not being treated properly. During another day at breakfast, one of the chef went and took an order of another person that came after. Managers response was it done by mistake, trying to justify their disgusting behaviour. And then the next day, at breakfast time, a customer just goes and takes my table and starts picking up my mobile phone that was already there when the table was empty. The customer was rude so of course I defended my self and told them to move, they are answering back and I told them to not talk to me. One said shut up and another one of them said she is mad in their language. I said to the manager, it’s ok for them to talk like that, he said ‘Be quiet’, wow for such behaviour in any hotel, the staff would be given a warning for never to speak customers like this. But in fact his manager came along and supported him. Disgusting nasty rude behaviour, how can such staff exist in the hotel. Basically all the management in the hotel are so so rude. They trying to defend everything not realizing the power of the reviews. The staff also removed my room card and water from the table and when I ask about they are ignoring and acting like they haven’t done anything. Who would want to stay at such a poor hotel. Flies on the food at the time of eating aswell, refer to the picture. The general manager and the management team have no hospitality skills and should be sacked immediately for how they are talking to customers. And imagine how the poor the staff are being treated that they fear losing their job, this is Labour abuse. So even more reason to boycott it. The general manager had the opportunity to take the feedback onboard to address the issue however was very defensive and behaving as if has authority over me. Manager is trying to defend the hotel by saying have you seen the reviews, well here is the truth. In sha Allah this review will reveal the truth about this hotel and the Makarem group will take action. If they don’t it shows that they just operate on a rude basis. Hasbi allah wa naemil wakil I read other customer reviews and they have said exactly the same about their hospitality being so bad, so avoid by all means.

We came to stay this amazing hotel after Umrah from 19 October 2026 to 22 October 2026. I couldn't find anything bad to point out. Everything from ambiance to hospitality it's 10/10. A must recommended option also for being so close to Masjid Al Nabawi.

Very good service, staff was very helpful Masha’Allah. Mohammed jafar was very welcoming and couldn’t do enough. Housekeeping was great, Mohammed mahmool was brilliant on 9th floor. Always available when needed and nothing was too much trouble

Unbelievable Hotel! Everything from service to design and quality of the rooms is deserving of 5* Rooms are impeccable and is in the best location with only a 1 minute walk to al masjid nabawi, our rooms come with access to the executive lounge which was perfect for some snacks, coffee and some sandwiches! Moaaz greeted us at the executive lounge and was so welcoming and helpful!

The service , all the staff and everything is amazing but the rooms could’ve been better also the cleanliness is not up to the par as expected of 5 star hotel . Rest the breakfast is great , the team and everyone is really cooperative .

Checked into the Makarem Burj and the hotel was lovely the service from check in was good, I was checked in by Ddlaa and she provided great service. We went to the lounge and the food was so nice, in the lounge I met Haroon and Moth and they both provided exceptional service they were so friendly especially with the kids and helpful. Made our stay that extra bit special. If your staying in this hotel the lounge is a must

Captain Ahmad and his incredible team—Amirh, Hiba, Tofiq, Munir, Noor, and Mahmoud—provided outstanding hospitality. The food variety was excellent, and their attentive service truly stood out. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Madinah! We will definitely be back.

Overall excellent stay. Very close to Prophet's mosque for both men and women. Very clean. Excellent service (front desk, lobby services, room cleaners, and security). By far my favorite thing about this hotel was the breakfast buffet. I've been to buffets across the world and throughout Medina / Mecca and I can tell you the food was too tier and the service was the best I've recieved to-date (thank you Muneer).
